A thought for a Sunday

"The correct scientific response to something that is not understood must always be to look harder for the explanation, not give up and assume a supernatural cause".

Sir David Attenborough (b 1926)

Andy... dear:
I see your comment on the 'miracle'... And, while I like the Attenborough quote, I wonder: If we look and study too hard, too long, do we risk negating the beauty, the simplicity, the miraculous? Aren't there some things we simply accept?

To the delightful delicate flower

You missed the Feynman video? That says things much simpler than I can.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Definitely no.

caught me... I just watched it, by the way the video gets stuck at 56 seconds. He is quite eloquent and interesting...I will watch more of him. AND, I concede the point. I only look at a flower with a suuperficial eye and from his point of view I understand your point.

Oops sorry, the clip plays for 1min 20 sec for me. Anyway, I'll post the full hour interview later on.

And maybe my own thoughts on flowers.
