"A poet's work is to name the unnameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world, and stop it going to sleep".
Salman Rushdie (b. 1947)

I was just friggin to hot to think here, so I opted for a revived old post! Too think, we complained about the cold?
I'm not complaining about warm days Dave. I feel cold very easily and then I'm just miserable. Last winter was a trial for me, and I'm thankful I didn't have to catch busses to work every day. Retirement has its benefits :)
Now I'm confused. Where did Dave's comment go?
Dave! DAVE!
DA-AVE!!!?
I'm here, as is my comment, I hope? I also found last winter a real PITA, only tolerable cos a change in my heart meds made me feel a lot better, for a few weeks. Now had to revise them cos of feckin side-effects; my increasingly dicky ticker tolerates very liitle by way of change at the moment. Heyho, death not yet desired...
Cheers Dave, Blogger had a hiccup but it's back to normal now.
You seem like a battler, get those meds stabilised and keep sharing your wisdom. Or whatever it is you want to do.
It's strange how time catches up. There's a sycamore tree in my back garden and I remember it being pollarded back in the mid 70s before I lived here. I cut it back again myself in the early 90s. Now I'm hacking it again, or rather The Gypsy is (that's my lodger, he can do the grunt work). But it has me wondering if I'll see fourth time...
Tempus frigging fugit!
