Late night music

After yesterday's post I felt I just had to remind myself what a real rock-music video should be like :)

Gary Moore & Phil Lynott- Out in the Fields

The splat at the end is perfect.

If that's late night music, what do you listen to for quiet before sleep?

Gary Moore - great guitarist.

Somewhere I have a copy of his 'Blues for Greeny' album - a Peter Green tribute. I must look it out.

Dave, I do like a bit of thump now and again, and the crap video made me smile. What do I listen to for quiet? Audio books, I'm an addict. I'm currently listening to Tom Sharpe's Riotous Assembly. It's not much use for getting to sleep though, it's too funny.

Nobbly, I don't know 'Blues for Greeny' that's one to look up. I've seen Gary Moore a few times, way back, in the Gary Moore Band and later in Skid Row. A good guitarist, but he can become a bit 'samey' after a while.

I know what you mean about 'samey'.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is pretty much the same - a shit-hot guitarist, but towards the end of an album you're starting to lose interest, no matter how good it was at the start.

That's why it's great these days to be able to 'pick-n-mix' without having to wind tapes or flip vinyl.
