A thought for a Sunday - St Valentine's Day

"Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for God the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, mankind will have discovered fire".

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881 - 1955)

Nice quote Andy...

I would have left out the two words 'for God' but I can understand why Teilhard de Chardin, a Jesuit priest and theologian, would use them.

When your heart's on fire, you must realise, smoke gets in your eyes.

The Platters! A very special track IMHO. It was one of four that I included in a post about the power of human eyes. May I tempt you to;

You tempted me a while ago Dave, and I've been visiting on the QT. I've been meaning to put you on my blogroll, so I'll do it now. Cheers!
