When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.
Somewhere in a landfill site, many many years ago...

My favourite Mac track.
Well posted.
I saw 'The Peter Green Splinter Group' in the early 00's supporting 'John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers' (in Halifax of all places) and Green did all the oldies like GM, Man of the World, Black Magic Woman, Albatross and some cool blues. A jaw dropping set, but then Mayall came on and blew them away. A stunning night and I seem to remember it was just £12 on the door.
You lucky bugger!
Peter Green AND Mayall's bluesbreakers at the same gig.
Only a few miles from home ... and I bloody missed it!
I really must make an effort to get to more gigs.
The last one was just over ayear ago, when 2 mates and myself went to see Wishbone Ash in Holmfirth.
As documented her
I haven't been to a Wishbone gig for a few years but I see on their site they're playing both Manchester and Leeds in May. I'll try to get to one.
