A thought for a Sunday

"Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends".

Maya Angelou (b. 1928)

If only more people would or could travel, it definitely helps in opening peoples' minds.

My mum once said of my dad "He's never traveled but he's been all over the world in his books".

I too am not widely traveled, a few trips within Europe, but I have met and worked with people from all corners of the world. And the internet...

It has opened my mind.
