When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.

A thought for a Sunday
"Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation in life".
Nobbly I'm fine, like you I'm not so 'bloggy' just now but this is my first 'retirement summer' so I'm enjoying it! Also we've reformed the band - three gigs next week, on one I think we get paid about £25 each. I've played when I had a day job, I've always pitched in for charity gigs, but I realise now that £25 will make me a professional musician for the first time ever.
So, 'yah boo sucks' to the musical Jenna, but must I must say 'well done' too. I guess that 'pychology' will be a difficult subject to study and perhaps she should start with her father. However, I am sure she will excel.
After all, Albert Einstein and Sherlock Holmes both played violin.
The old chap knew a thing or two then?
ReplyDeleteNot bad some of those Romans.

How you doing Andy? I'm not around the blogs as much as I used to be, so get a bit out of touch.
ReplyDeleteFYI - seeing as you met her once - Jenna got her required AAB and got into Lancaster to study pychology.
