When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.

A thought for a Sunday
"Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music".
Ha, if you think the Pukka Pies Band was bad - how about this lot? (actually, this was one of my favourite bands - check out 'urban spaceman' or 'jollity farm' on youtube - I picked this one to post here because the intro reminds me of a hendrix number but I can't quite think what one)
As long as the band does NOT have a vuvuzela included!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not Duncan's ‘Pukka Pies Band’.

The Bonzos were formative for me too (Gorilla, Doughnut in Granny's Greenhouse) and I loved their cover of Monster mash.
ReplyDeleteNow where's my copy of Rawlinson End?
