When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.

A thought for a Sunday
"Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone".
Actually Andy, age makes it worse, you know the value that you will now pay twice!

ReplyDeleteJust another reason to have the ice cream put in a bowl. Added bonis: I truly think they put more ice cream in bowls than on cones.

ReplyDeleteA bowl full just costs more and it's still easy to drop anyway.
