When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.

A thought for a Sunday
"You must have been warned against letting the golden hours slip by; but some of them are golden only because we let them slip by".
So true... a golden hour spent in the shade of a tree, drink in hand, lounging and just watching the butterflies, listening to sounds of birds.... doesn't get too much better

ReplyDeleteI imagined a cold winter's night, just sitting gazing into the flames of a warm fire and pondering. Drink in hand of course.
