When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.

This is one of my absolute favourite performances on the DVD. You can see the complete amazement at what they're witnessing written all over the faces of the audience. And I always find Michael Houser a fascinating guitarist. It's a shame he died so young and Panic have never really interested me as much without him.
Aw, thanks Andy. The sentiment is, of course, mutual. By the way, my mum was saying she fancied catching up with you at some point so I said I would mention it.

ReplyDeleteKai, your knowledge of musical background never ceases to amaze me. It's a pleasure to know you.

ReplyDeleteI'll be emerging from hibernation quite soon, so I'll give her a call if it's still the same landline number.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed.
