When I was a youngster my parents bought me a pair of braces to hold up my new trousers. Of course these were 'Trousers to grow into' and without such support I would have been running around bare arsed. The braces were blue and had pictures of planets and rockets and, in the box, was a genuine ticket to the Moon.
I know, because it said so.

A most amazing optical illusion
Look directly at the falling ball and it falls straight down.
To make it weirder, look directly at the ball from fairly close with crossed eyes. I see two balls falling in parallel, and as my eyes uncross while the ball(s) is(are) falling they shift to intersecting paths.
very interesting.....

ReplyDeleteRBH you've made my eyes ache, but you're right.
ReplyDeleteJust as weird, if you make the speed positive 12 it drifts to the right! (must be an effect of the simulated rotation)
Or speed it up to +/- 50, then it almost appears to be moving horizontal.
And it's the same if you close one eye.
Interesting.
Whoa!!
ReplyDeleteCheaper than buying lots of beer, but not as much fun.
